Abilities Tennis Clinic

Wednesday, August 14th 2024 – In Women’s singles play both the round of 32 and the round of 16 had to be played due to the rain from Tuesday.  Rebeka Masarova, Sijia Wei, Maria Mateas, Rebecca Marino, Mananchaya Sawangkaew, and Renata Zarazua.  In the round of 16 Rebeka Masarova, Renata Zarazua and Manachaya Sawangkaew got their second wins of the day to advance to the quarterfinals.  They were join by Alexandra Eala, Lucrezia Stefanni, Nuria Parrizas-Diaz, Arianne Hartono, and Viktorija Golubic.

 
In Men’s singles play Tristan Boyer, Gabriel Diallo, Christopher Eubanks, Mikail Kukushkin, and Mattia Bellucci all won their round of 16 matches.
 
In Men’s doubles Behar/Johnson, Harper/Sigouin, Nedunchezhiyan/Prashanth, and Gomez/Tsitsipas all advanced to the quarterfinals.
 
Tonight, CTC had the privilege of hosting a clinic for over 104 abilities athletes and volunteers. Before the featured evening match, and exhibition with two abilities athletes was held on Stadium Court with ball kids and a chair umpire.  Thank you to everyone who came out, we loved being able to highlight that tennis is a game for everyone!
