Cary, NC, August 11, 2024 – In the second round of men’s singles qualifying Seongchan Hong, Matteo Gigante, Emilio Nava, Kyrian Jacquet, Gabriel Diallo, and Mattia Bellucci won their matches to advance to the main draw.
Men’s first round singles matches also started to day. Terence Atmane, Otto Virtanen, Billy Harris, and David Goffin all advanced to the round of 16. They were joined by Americans Ethan Quinn and Christopher Eubanks.
The women started their first round of qualifying today with T. Gibson, M. Sawangkaew, T. Preston, R. Marino, C. Tanguilig, H. Inoue, L. Stefanini, S. Ishii, H. Tan, S. Yamalapalli, F. Jorge, H. Watson, E. Shibahara, V. Hu, O. Selekhmeteva, and B. Bulgaru all advancing the the second round.
