RTA Offers Ball Kid Training for Underserved Kids

In partnership with the Raleigh Police Department, the Raleigh Tennis Association offered a summer camp for underserved kids which included tennis lessons. Some of these kids also received the opportunity to participate in RTA ball kid training. Through this program, Tristyn Bowman (pictured above) had the chance to ball kid for Pros at the Cary Tennis Classic. Tristyn has participated in several events including the NJTL Day, hosted by Ebony Racquet Club and NC Tennis, Cary Tennis Classic’s Kid’s Day and RTA’s Ball Kid Pilot Program.
